The game is designed by Fredrik Kruse, a Norwegian game developer, entrepreneur, and multi-disciplinary professional. With a background as a sociologist, journalist, editor, writer, politician, and teacher, Fredrik brings a unique perspective to game design. His passion for tennis and chess has further fueled his love for strategy and structure.

The inspiration behind Linkin3 comes from legendary game designer Alex Randolph – particularly his iconic game Linop, and the lesser-known gem Tonkin. These games sparked Fredrik’s journey into game development and laid the foundation for what would become Linkin Games.
